Are you busy getting ready for a handmade Halloween? This holiday has a tendency to “creep” up on us… no pun intended!

That’s why we’re sharing a super speedy pattern for this 1-hour Trick or Treat tote by Jessica VanDenburgh of Sew Many Creations, featuring our spooky Wicked Eve collection.

CLICK HERE (or the photo below) to download the PDF pattern directly from the Sew Many Creations website. Jessica made a few simple modifications to the pattern, which we’ve detailed below the image.

The pattern is called the Striped Market Bag, and it’s usually made with 3.5″ wide strips. For the trick-or-treat version, use a single fabric, and cut it to the specified size of the outside body pieces in the directions (14″ x 14″). Skip the front pocket to show off the fabulous bat fabric!

To make it with this single piece of fabric (instead of strips), you’ll need 1/2 yard of the Bat Double Border for the outside. Don’t forget 1/2 yd of Dark Tree Branches for the lining, and 1/4 yd Dark Clouds for the straps!

Finished tote size: 13″W top x 9 1/2″ bottom x 11″H x 4″D.

This bag is a fabulous way to use our Bat Double Border fabric.
